Dear friends, welcome to this site dedicated to a concert in honor of the great saxophonist Stan GETZ. This event, gathering friends and relatives of the artist, as well as professional musicians, is the first of its kind. Indeed, besides the inclusion of this concert in “Summer Music in Eze,” it will be accompanied by an exhibition of paintings on the theme of jazz. Moreover, this event will permit members of the American site “STAN GETZ COMMUNITY” to meet in other than a virtual manner. In order that a large public can attend the concert, a modest admission price of 5 euros will be charged. The Exotic Garden of Eze Village will present a charming site for this musical gathering. Three hundred places will be available to the public for one hour and a half of music in honor of this renowned musician.
Vernissage of the exhibition of paintings " All the colors of Jazz " in the city hall of Eze-village.
This exhibition will feature ten (10) artists with quite diverses styles. They symbolize, in their various styles the diverse trends of Jazz.
To guarantee a quality service, we should note that the Municipality of Eze will lend its assistance. Several storekeepers of the village have also offered their help. Thus, we are happy to announce that there will also be, that evening, a vernissage of the painting exhibition “All the Colors of Jazz” which will take place from 20/08/2010 to 27/08/2010 in the Exhibition Hall of Eze Village. A free musical entertainment will also be provided by the “LIVIO ZANELLATO QUARTET” during the vernissage.
